The casino's dining expansion - including dozens of new table games, poker tables and hundreds of additional slot machines - was designed to entice customers with non-gaming amenities. The project, a 150,000-square-foot expansion, more than doubled the Delaware Avenue casino's size to 260,000 square feet since ground was broken in July 2014. Philadelphia's SugarHouse Casino will officially cut the ribbon next Monday in Fishtown to mark the conclusion of a $164 million expansion completed over a nearly two-year period.
